Gray News) – Beyonce’s hit single “Texas Hold ‘Em” spent 10 weeks at the top of the country music charts before finally passing the crown to another song.

According to Billboard, Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart this week.

Billboard said the song dethrones Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which held the No. 1 spot on the chart for the past 10 weeks.

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is the first No. 1 hit on the country chart for Shaboozey.

Billboard said that the moment is historic because this is the first time two Black artists have led the Hot Country Songs chart back-to-back since the chart’s creation in 1958.

Shaboozey was also recognized as Billboard’s No. 1 Emerging Artist this week.

The Virginia native has a feature on two songs on Beyonce’s album “Cowboy Carter,” which leads the Top Country Albums chart for the fourth week in a row.

Shaboozey described his sound as “a lot of country, but some hip-hop moments on there, too. But a lot of my personal story and journey.”

His new album “Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going” will be released on May 31.
