Sofía Vergara Is a Fashion Icon Showing Off Healing Surgical Incision in Little White Dress
As she continues to recover from knee surgery, Sofía Vergara isn’t letting it hold her back, enjoying a day out with friends in a stunning white dress in new photos.
The actress shared the sunny update on Instagram, with the first photo a candid snap of Vergara relaxing somewhere. She had her knee elevated and her surgical incision on full display while snacking on a colorful cotton candy cake. In the picture, Vergara wore a strapless white dress, which she shared a better look at in other snaps.
In another snap, Vergara sat on a couch beside two friends while holding her new puppy, with the pose showing off the full front of the dress. She had her hair styled in soft curls with gold jewelry and smokey eye makeup.
Many shared words of support in the comments, glad to see that she was doing well as she recovered from the surgery.
Vergara announced that she underwent surgery earlier this month on social media, also sharing a look at her new beau, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, who was by her side. Rumors of a romance between the two started late last year, with Vergara finally making it official with his Instagram debut.
The actress hasn’t shared any further details about her new relationship or the surgery, keeping both parts of her life mostly private. This is Vergara’s first public relationship since she divorced her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, with the couple announcing their split in July 2023 after marrying in 2015.
Vergara finally opened up a bit about what led to the divorce at the start of 2024, telling the Spanish newspaper El País, “My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom. I feel it’s not fair to the baby.”
Since their divorce, Manganiello has also begun a new relationship with actress Caitlin O’Connor.
