Angel Reese Makes Honest Admission About WNBA Competition Level
WNBA rookie Angel Reese is already a star in the league. Her fandom has grown in tremendous fashion since her college days with the LSU Tigers. As she walks into her professional career, questions continue to surround on whether she’s ready to compete in the WNBA.
It’s a big step for any player that’s getting ready to take their talents in a professional atmosphere. In college, Reese was the LSU Tigers. She embodied the grit and grind that it took to win, and made sure that everyone knew how dedicated she was to the game.
That’s translated perfectly to the league. Reese has only played one game in the league, competing against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night.
In her preseason outing, Reese scoring 13 points on a near double-double with nine rebounds. She was able to make an instant impact, and will only get better with time in the league.
“In the league, everybody is good. In college you can kinda chill a little bit… you can’t take a play off for anybody,” said Reese, via Vanshay Murdock on X.
