Princess Diana’s brother reveals he lost virginity to a sex worker on holiday aged 12
Princess Diana’s brother claims he lost his virginity to a prostitute while on a family holiday at the age of 12.
Earl Charles Spencer, 59, has made the admission in his new memoir A Very Private School. In the book he links the encounter to sex abuse he suffered months earlier by a female assistant matron at Maidwell Hall boys prep school in Northamptonshire in the 1970s.
He said he was on a trip to Italy with his mum and step-father when he spotted a sex worker in a short skirt standing on a street corner. He used his pocket money to pay her around £15 for sex, the Earl writes. He claims the experience left him feeling “hollow and cold” and he did not have sex again until he was 17. He describes his time at the school as “casual cruelty, sexual assault and other perversions”
