Eagle-Eyed Fans Noticed That Meghan Markle Hasn’t Found a Way to Honor Daughter Lilibet in Her Daily Jewelry
It’s no secret that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are crazy about their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. So that’s why when eagle-eyed fans noticed this jewelry detail of Meghan’s, many were confused. However, we have everything laid out bare as a new controversy comes into play.
According to style expert, James Harris, who is a Regional Sales Manager at Austen & Blake, recently spoke to GB News about Meghan’s jewelry. Recently, many realized that she upgraded her engagement ring, which is one of her three staple rings that she’s often seen out with.
Meghan’s trilogy engagement ring, wedding band and eternity rings are her jewellery staples,” Harris said, noting that her eternity ring represents multiple people. Harry reportedly gifted that to her in 2019 with a stone representing a family member with their respective birthstones: her with a green peridot, Harry with a blue sapphire, and their son Archie with a green emerald.
However, many asked, “Where’s Lilibet’s stone? Why didn’t she get that updated along with her engagement ring?”
Since Lilibet was born in June, she could either be represented with a pearl, Moonstone, or Alexandrite, but none are in sight.
However, Harris offered an explanation: since Harry gifted it to her in 2019, after Archie’s birth, it moreso represents him. “Eternity rings are traditionally gifted after a milestone anniversary or to celebrate a child’s birth, as they are a symbol of eternity, love, and commitment,” he said to the outlet. “Wearing these sentimental pieces when travelling, may hold deep personal significance and act as a connection to loved ones.”
So, this means that she may have another piece of jewelry representing her family of four, or will update it in the future, since she recently did so with one of her staples.
For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. They share two children together named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.
Back in 2021, Meghan told Oprah that the best role she’s ever had in her life is unequivocally being a mother. “I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a Duchess… and the most important title I’ll ever have is mom,” she said.
