The 7ft 4in centre is a defensive beast with the handles and shooting touch of a point guard.
He’s been described as a ‘unicorn’, an ‘alien’ and a ‘freak of nature’, and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has a hilarious theory on how Wemby was ‘made’.
Speaking on the recent episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast with brother Jason, the NFL tight end said of Wembanyama: “You can’t tell me that dude wasn’t made in a f***ing lab over there in France.
“Lab-grown diamonds, that’s a lab-grown-f***ing NBA player,” he joked.
Former Eagles center Jason then interjected saying: “Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please.”
“Can’t wait until I f***in’ make one,” Travis added, fuelling speculation he wanted to have a baby with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“You can’t wait to make what, Trav?!” one fan wrote on X.
“He sure did let that slip ha,” added another.
